Hi, I'm Rowena. I'm 24, I’m from South Australia and I love being involved in anything creative. I spent 17 months travelling from May 2017 to October 2018, spending a lot of time in Ireland but also hopping around Europe, Mongolia and Morocco. I am a freelance writer, and I love my job for its flexibility. I mostly work for a travel agency that specialises in horse riding holidays, which is perfect for me as I love horses, travel and writing!
I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, horse riding, yoga, meditation, photography, visual art, craft, films, absorbing music, environmental activism, helping people create less waste, cooking and gardening. I come from a very artistic family - my father made his living as an artist and my mother has had success with a huge range of artistic pursuits. My medium of choice is the written word, but I love to experiment with all sorts of artistic outlets, from photography to music. My goal is to use my creative skills to have a positive impact on the world, however and wherever I can. At the moment I’m building myself a tiny house, slowly but surely.
Oh, and I can bake the world's best chocolate chip biscuits!
