About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be content with my life and help others reach that "ok" point too!
ABOUT ME
I live in Swifts Creek Victoria- one of the prettiest places in Australia... On the snow line, in the Victorian Alps
I began life as a social worker, and then moved into the ministry- BUT don't let that put you off... I am into social justice, tolerance, liberal protestantism, community partication and activity... And drama, music, nature...
I have a good sense of humour, and am a positive and creative person.
PHILOSOPHY
Well- it was said in my response to the first question. Read that again! But I could add... Be kind. Listen to others. Help folk if appropriate. Smile a lot. Hug when necessary. Share tears and laughter. Be interested in those you meet, and their stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the meeting of new people!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, gradually developing loads of positive experiences... And in the past, before I joined here lots of experience of recieving and giving of the whole "kindness of/to strangers" perspective, both in Australia and across the world. So this influences my Couch Surfing philosphy.

Music, Movies, and Books
Chick flicks; comedy- especially UK/BBC stuff... Sci-Fiction (currently my fav channel on satellite TV).
Eclectic music styles... Presently belong to a Folk/Jazz group as a singer, a community choir, and the town drama society (a role in a musical comedy later this month.)
Books? Hmmmmm. Lots of interests. Historical fiction and fact. Poetry. Travel. Humour. Jane Austen. Fantasy. Sci-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had been in this new town 1 week.... Job only started that very day- when out of the blue, I was asked to take the lead role in the town's musical comedy. (They had heard me sing, and seen me in an up-front role in my church.)
Well, I did it. It was great fun, loads of work- and the best possible way to make friends in a new town, new state, new job!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can learn more about music... I sing, and can teach it... But can always learn more.
Likewise drama. With kids and adults.
Countries I’ve Visited
