ABOUT ME

i'm sociable, but not lonely when on my own. I prefer the outdoors to being inside. I like to be practical, to build and repair. For over 20 years I had a farm here in France, raising cattle for beef, going organic at the end. That sort of life defines who you are.
I like intelligent conversation, to meet people, and be challenged.

Interests

Recently I've been spending lots of my time on childcare, having had twin girls, now 2 and a half. I have lots of interests from visual image making, to cooking, to using my hands, as in DiY.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While travelling when younger, I could pick out a couple of places that I remember as being very dramatic……that would be the Grand Canyon (on a clear day!) and the main mosque in Istanbul, the former Church of Hagia Sophia.
However it's the memories of certain individuals that really rest in the mind, even years later
