Me in a nutshell: I am quirky, gregarious, and quite witty. I am passionate and emotional and some might even say 'eccentric'. I'm known for laughing at my own jokes and hosting fantastic parties (dinner or dance or both!). I love to eat, travel, listen to all types of music, read novels and watch movies. I love contemporary art and philosophy. My hobbies include: dreaming, cooking and collecting retro furniture. I do like the finer things in life and so hot water and clean sheets are essentials. I reciprocate by keeping it neat and clean, just the way I like it.

When I travel I tend to stay clear of the tourist traps and prefer to soak in the atmosphere and culture by sitting at cafes people watching and I love to meet people over a drink and at parties. I also really enjoy nature and outdoor fun and I'm known for hosting wine and cheese tastings at the tops of mountains.

I will cook if at all possible, so be prepared to indulge in a delicious home cooked meal with lots of wine and laughing!

兴趣

Cuisines of the world - I love to eat and cook. It's in my genes. I talk about the next meal whilst eating.
Hiking - South Africa, a land with an abundance of beautiful hikes, through forests, along beaches, in the desserts and in the bush. I love to hike!
Yoga - this has become something I cannot live without, a part of my weekly regime. It is an extremely solitary exercise, allowing me the opportunity to keep fit and take time out to be introspective.
Fashion - I find it extremely difficult to travel light. Mixing and matching, pairing and contrasting - I love to dress up, I always have. I think it could be genetic.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was a child, because my father was a game ranger, my family and I lived in the Kruger National Park for five years. Growing up in the bush really influenced how I approach life.
As an adult, I have had the privilege of being able to indulge in some fantastic and spectacular meals at a few Michelin Star restaurants around the world including The Fat Duck and The London. Eating at even more of these restaurants is on my bucket List.
