ABOUT ME

I am a student living in Corpus Christi, Texas. This city became my home after coming to the univeristy here. I sort of fell in love with the area. The open air. The downtown that you don't need a taxi to get around. The parks. The people. (If you visit in the summer time there are free concerts on Thursdays and free movies on Fridays at Cole Park near our down town!)

I have a B.A. in English and I'm continuing my education for a M.A. in English. I cannot spell to save my life and my grammar isn't the best. But I love to read and write!

I have a cat and a dog. My roomate's also have a dog. So if you have allergies that aren't too severe, just let me know and I can clean as best as I can!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know about "philosophy" as far as what I live by, but I think that life is worth living. I want to help as many people as I can. Right now, I am at the point in my life where I have to figure out what I mean by "help people".

I haven't done much for couch surfing. But I would like to do more surfing/hosting!

I like to do an arange of things. From being outside to stying in and trying to paint a picture. I like to cook and learn new things.

U2 is my favorite band! But I love others. I love tons of movies. I love going to the movies and hearing live music. Corpus has a good music "scene" as far as I can tell.

Being what I am, I have to read, a lot. Though, my preferences are news readings, text book -type stuff. I love literature and reacently found a love of reading plays.

I've seen the largest organism on this earth, General Sherman who is a Sequia Tree in California, USA.
