ABOUT ME

travel, good food, music makes me happy, photography, architecture, happy smiles, sunny days, sunglasses, the beach, ice lollies, dancing, laughter, red wine, good whisky, fireplaces, great conversation, that blissful feeling. These are some of the things I like.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is Live and Let Live. We're all in this world trying to carve out a space for ourselves. Life is tough sometimes so one would do best to not judge but rather share happy moments with the people on your journey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be travelling from Buenos Aires, through Uruguay and Brasil destination Salvador before heading back to South Africa from Sao Paulo. Mission to meet new friends, share moments that become great memories. I will be moving from city to city quite quickly so a bit so couch surfing sounds perfect for me. I look forward to meeting you and exchanging priceless items like friendship and memories for the use of your couch :) ps. I am a great cook and love good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has always been a thing, though nothing as organised as this community, so this is great. The best part about sharing the home of a resident local is definitely the friendships made. my own couch has seen it's own share of passers through, I love showing off my country. Always good to share my space with like minded, interesting people. When I return home, I look forward to hosting some of you!

Music: I LOVE music. I think i would die without it. I enjoy Jazz, Lounge, Deep House, Trip Hop and Old Skool Hip Hop. I am pretty eclectic when it comes to music and I will listen to anything good. I am not really a big fan of commercial music but it depends on where i am and who i am with. "different choons for different moons."

Books: I enjoy reading. Biographies, Period books (history), books on architecture and photography, entertaining books, just for the fun of it. I read alot.

I enjoy a good movie, but prefer a dvd to going to a cinerma.

I enjoy helping people learn my native language, I have some experience and it's really fulfilling seeing the lights come on for language learners.

I enjoy making things with my hands (jewellery, clothes, crafts, wood work) and I am always interested in learning new skills.
