Music: World music, especially Gypsy music, Cesaria Evora, Lila Downs, Classic rock, local bands.

Books: Any book by Paulo Coelho, One Thousand Splendid suns.
Pillars of the Earth and The Never Ending world by Ken Follet.

Movies: Mostly international movies. Some of my favorites are Chocolat (2000), La vita è bella (1997), La meglio gioventù (2003), Los Paranoicos (2008), Big Fish (2003), any movie by Emir Kusturica.
