About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm travelling from Edinburgh Fringe on 28th August to a friend's wedding in Turin, then I'm planning to cycle over the Alps to meet up with friends in Munich, then I'd like to join up with some frineds cycling between Vienna and Berlin.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm 24 years old and love to travel, by foot/train/bike. I like travelling by bike the most.
PHILOSOPHY
I like a lot of the existentialist people like Camus, my no.1 favourite is Kierkegaard, and reading this kind of stuff as filled me with questions about God and faith and universal truth and love. I also believe in Rock and Roll, Eddie Cochran, the Boss, Nick Cave. I believe in creative expression as an integral part of forming your own identity, autonomy and relation with whatever it is you have faith in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just started couchsurfing, so all participation is new to me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none to date - met some couchsurfers who were hanging with friends and sounded a neat idea.
Interests
I like travelling of course, seeing new sights, new places, meeting new people. I have lived in Wurzburg, Germany, for a year and learnt to speak German there and still enjoy opportunities to speak German or learn any new language. I love music, can play a bunch of instruments and love to have a sing and learn new songs. I am currently playing in the backing band for a theatre group and so am getting in to theatre a bit more too these days.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love indie classics such as the Coen bros, W.Anderson stuff, D. Hoffman stuff. Currently diggin' westerns a lot, intense Morricone soundtracks, bleak landscapes, some gunshots, long shots of gristly grisling faces.
Just finished reading The End Of The Affair and can say with confidence that he is definitely one of my favourite authors.
Music: Rock and Roll, stuff to dance to, be it funk, disco, electro. Also in to old style blues and folk music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tricky one. I guess the most amazing thing I have ever done, without trying to sound too cheesy, is telling someone I loved them.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach a bit of rudimentary guitar, drums, melodeon, piano, and the songs that go with them of course.
Have a soft spot for fairytales of a particularly bleak of dark nature and am happy to share these and learn more.
