CURRENT MISSION

After a year of working at a psychiatric hospital for children I saved up some money to travel around for a year. My plan is to travel around the world and visit the USA, Jamaica, New Zealand, Australia and India.

ABOUT ME

Home is were I feel at home, so that doesn't have to be Holland. I love to travel I love to met people from all over the world. I have been travelling to Australia for ten months, about 3 years ago and I loved it. Just to feel the freedom of going wherever you want to and to meet a variety of people.
Back home I was working in a Psychiatric hospital for children, I really liked this job, but the idea of travelling again was constantly in my mind.
Also because travelling makes you learning more about yourself, what you want and who you are or wanna be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about couchsurfing from a friend of mine, But I started doing it after I was travelling through the USA with a good friend of mine. We bought a car in Miami and were planning on driving it al the way to San Francisco, But we didn't make it till there. Cause it broke down in San Antonio. So we stayed at the Lavens family what was a really good first experience to begin with couchsurfing.
Couchsurfing is a really good way to get to know more about the daily life in a country. That's one of the reasons why I really like it.
