About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to travel and have fun while immersing myself in other peoples culture.

ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old. I am an Anthropology major so you can say I'm in love with anything that deals with culture. I love traveling and exploring anything and everything! I cannot live without music and the outdoors and I lug around my camera almost everywhere.

I am a little bit of everything! A musician (Violin 13 years, west african drums 2 years), artist (theater, photography, drawing), nature enthusiast (hiking, biking, farm work), and Environmental activist.

I'm a very outgoing person that loves to meet new people. I have a multifaceted personality which makes it easy to get along with most people. I've never met a person that I haven't enjoyed.

PHILOSOPHY

Live everyday like its your last. Always have an open mind and an open heart. I also try to be positive no matter what situation I'm in. There's no point in stressing yourself out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experience with CS but I do want to meet new people. I want to immerse myself in the local culture of where ever I go!

Interests

Photography. Travel. Music. Food. Nature. These are the things I can't live without.

I feel like photography is so important, I love memory making and I also like to capture those beautiful moments on film. One day I'll be able to look at my old pictures and smile as the memories rush right back to my head.

I am curious by nature so I love to travel. I love to feel little in this big, big world we live in. Theres so many different types of geographies and cultures waiting out there for me! I want to experience as many of them as I possibly can.

I think food is a very important factor in culture. People express themselves in many forms and food is just one of them. I will eat anything at least once. I also love to cook and want to learn different recipes along my travels.

Music has been part of my life since I was a child. I've been playing the violin since I was 8 years old and I absolutely love it. You can express yourself with out saying a word which I love.

I'm not happy unless I can be outside. I love hiking or just laying in the grass in a park. I've worked on a farm for 3 years on and off and I've adored it so much! My favorite experience was last summer where I got to work at an organic farm and got to take home fresh veggies that I helped grow!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are too many beautiful moments to write down! My most recent one was watching the Tuscan sunset above Firenze. Che bello!! It made me feel so small and so lucky to be 1) in this world and 2) live in such a beautiful and historic city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the Violin if you want! I can also talk your ear off about cultural theories. I love learning about new cultures so share with me your traditions and beliefs. I would love to learn anything that someone is really passionate about. If there are any italian speakers out there I would love to talk to you in Italian. My dream is to one day move to Italy and start a new life here so I got to polish up my Italian skills, haha.
