About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet interesting people and show them around the Bay Area!

ABOUT ME

Hello everybody, I'm Rebecca and I'm a 21 year old photography student living in Berkeley, California. I am a world citizen and world traveler! I live with two roommates, two cats, and a great dog. We have a pretty sizable house and love guests.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like I used to be a very reserved person, very shy and afraid to activate an experience. In the past few years, this has changed a lot and I am enjoying embracing my newly found sense of freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on this site for a while, but until recently never had a living situation in which I could offer up a couch. I am happy to say this has changed, and I look forward to meeting a flood of new and interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience, I only just signed up because a friend told me about it and I thought it was a great idea.

Interests

Film making and photography, my two greatest passions. Movies, but that goes without saying. Reading, because you never get too old for it and you never stop enjoying it. Cooking, I try to cook for my friends from time to time. Biking, I live in Berkeley and I love riding here. Live music in the Bay Area is also something I like to take advantage of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just off the top of my mind, being in Rome when Italy won the world cup in 2006. It was pretty insane. I've seen a lot of incredible things in my life, but I feel silly that the first one I remember is about football!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to knit and cook... seeing as those are the only things I can come up with, I'm all for this trade exchange!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Costa Rica, United Kingdom, United States
