ABOUT ME

Me encanta viajar, abre mi mente y mi corazón, excita mis sentidos y sentimientos y me brinda la fortuna de conocer otros puntos de vista de como ver y vivir esta vida. Tengo una linda familia (esposa, 2 niñas -2 años/6 meses-) y ha sido muy emocionante esta nueva etapa de mi vida. Me encanta mostrar mi ciudad y hacer posible que otros disfruten al máximo su paso por Colombia.

I love travelling, it opens my mind and my heart, excites my senses and feelings and gives me the fortune to get another points of view about this life. I have a beautiful family (wife, 2 girls -2 years old, six months old- :) ). I'm enjoing this new time of my life. I like too much to show my city and make possible that others enjoy its own visit to Colombia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Puedo compartir todo acerca de mi ciudad y de mi país con quien lo desee. También puedo compartir mis experiencias de otros viajes. I can share all about my city and my country to anybody. I also can share my experiencies in other travels around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Estar con alguien que es oriundo de la región que visitas y compartir con el/ella un poco de su cotidianidad es la mejor experiencia de un viaje. He viajado de esta forma muchas veces, pero siempre llegando donde amigos de amigos de amigos. A la China sí llegué a través de couchsurfing, fue una experiencia increíble, aunque muy corta, y allá fui a dar siguiendo el eclipse del 2009. Luego fui a un congreso en Santa Fe, Argentina, en 2011 y estuve varios días en la casa de unos increíbles anfitriones de couchsurfing.

To be with someone native and share with him/her a little bit of his/her cotidianity is the better travel experience. I had traveled a lot in this way, visiting some friend of a friend of a friend. With couchsurfing.org I were in China, it was a very nice exprience, but too short. I landed there following a total eclipse in 2009. In 2011 I went to Santafe, Argentina, and stayed some days doing couchsurfing with a very nice host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

De lo mejor, ir al Glaciar Perito Moreno en Argentina. Absolutamente increible. Pero sin duda la mejor aventura fue irme mochiliando con mi novia (ahora mi esposa) por suramérica durante 6 meses.

Go to Glaciar Perito Moreno in Argentina. Absolutly amazing. But the best adventure was travelling with my girlfriend (now my wife) through South America for 6 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

Si alguna vez la persona donde te estás quedando te invita a comer, acéptalo. Y sé sincero todo el tiempo: aprenderás mucho de esa persona y sobre ti mismo cuando la otra persona note que tu quieres aprender sobre él o sobre ella. La otra: si nos sabes como llegar, o como ir de un lugar a otro, pregunta. No sabes la cantidad de sorpresas que uno se lleva solo por preguntar!

If someone that is hosting you wants to invite you to dinner, let it do that. And be sincerous all times: You will learn many thing from this person and from you when this person notes that you want to learn about him/her. Another thought: if you don't know how to go from one place to another, just ask somebody: is amazing how many surprises you will get just for ask!
