About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring while simultaneously settling down?

ABOUT ME

I live in Washington DC but often get to travel for work and pleasure.
I'm always up for a little adventures and new things - people, languages, places, meeting somebody from a place I have never been or never heard of, and listening to them explain what it's like, because then I always want to go there!

PHILOSOPHY

Expand your comfort zone. Something new is something good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Don't have a couch at the moment, but I'd love to meet up with people for a chat/coffee/drink whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sporadically - I'm met more surfers than I've hosted or been hosted, but when I get my own place I'd like to host more. It's been great when I've been hosted, but also when I've rolled into a new city (Guadalajara, Budapest, Brasilia, etc) and found great people to walk around with or have a beer.

Interests

Good food, coffee, movies, music. Habitat conservation. Languages and places. Boats, trains, and buses. Skimming a magazine from back to front.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went round the world on an NGO cruise ship called the Peace Boat. A great experience....
