About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live in different ways, not just different places

ABOUT ME

I am a recent college graduate with a degree in chemical engineering. Before i find a job and have real responsibilities, I am taking 7 months to do an around-the-world trip. I will be going all across Europe, parts of the Middle East, India, southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. i love hiking and the outdoors more than anything else and my life goal is to explore (not just travel) the world and experience ways of life that i was never exposed to growing up. i hope to broaden my world view and meet people with new and different ideas before i have to decide what i am going to do with the rest of my life. I like backpacking, cooking, frisbee, sharing stories and exploring new places.

PHILOSOPHY

every label that you apply to yourself only serves to limit your definition of who you are. that being said i try to live in a way that makes me happy about what i'm doing while and after doing it. i hope to leave the world a better place than i found it

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couchsurfing experience is limited to France and since I currently do not have a permanent residence I cannot host anyone. I would greatly like to expand my experience, both by hosting (one day) and by surfing the couches of others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

fantastic!
I have only surfed three couches ever, all in the south of France in 2008 but I enjoyed and learned from every one. I can't say which was a favorite because they were all so great in different ways
