Hi, I’m René! I’m originally from Jutland and moved to Copenhagen in the summer of 2025. I live within walking distance of the old city and just a stone’s throw from Nørrebro Runddel metro station.

I enjoy meeting and helping people on their journeys and building real friendships. This is not a hotel, so I hope you’re also up for spending some time together.

I live in a shared apartment without common areas. You’ll stay in my room on an air mattress, and we also eat there. The kitchen and bathroom are shared with one other person, who has two cats — so you’ll need to be okay with that.

I love cooking, go to the spa, meeting new people, backpacking (whether in the city or in the Nordic wilderness with campfires and sleeping under the stars), and I go swimming a few times a week — you’re welcome to join? 🏊

I’ve volunteered with exchange students from around the world and even hosted one for 8 months, who became like a son to me.🇮🇹

I work as a store manager in a pet shop, and I love sharing my space, my life, and my city with new people. Just let me know what you’d like to do while here — and of course, you’ll also have plenty of time to explore Copenhagen on your own.
