About Me

We are Arti and Veeru, travel buddies turned married couple from India. Life blessed us further, and now our little girl
has joined us on our adventures. 🌍✨

Our home in Bengaluru is cozy, warm, and open to like-minded travelers who love sharing stories, experiences, and perspectives. Couchsurfing for us is about connections, cultural exchange, and building memories—not free accommodation.

We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. We deeply respect everyone’s culture, traditions, religion, ethnicity, sexuality, and choices. You’ll find us open-minded, kind, peaceful, and adventurous souls who appreciate a simple lifestyle and meaningful conversations.

We are also into the outdoors—hiking, walking, cycling, rappelling, or just enjoying nature. Fun fact: we actually met each other at a hiking event…and the rest is history! 💚

We believe in the human spirit of connecting—and sometimes, those bonds last forever.

More about us when we meet! 😊

Important Note

Couchsurfing is not a free hostel. It is about sharing cultures, kindness, and experiences. Please respect our home, family, and house rules.
👉 If the rules are not respected, we may have to ask you to leave immediately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing because we believe travel is not just about places, but about people. 🌍 Meeting locals and fellow travelers allows us to exchange stories, cultures, and perspectives that no guidebook can offer. For us, Couchsurfing is about genuine human connection, kindness, and creating memories that last beyond the journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: We enjoy a mix of calming, soulful tunes as well as upbeat songs that lift the mood. 🎶
Books: We love reading travel stories, inspiring biographies, and simple life lessons that stay with you. 📚
Movies: From light-hearted family movies to thought-provoking films, we enjoy stories that make us smile or reflect. 🎬

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Jumped out of the sky at 18,000 ft while skydiving in Franz Josef, New Zealand — one of the most thrilling moments of our lives! 🪂
2. Donated our hair to support cancer patients and stand in solidarity with them. 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️
3. Passionately involved in helping underprivileged girls pursue education by supporting their school fees, because we truly believe education can change lives. 🎓✨

Teach, Learn, Share

We think we all influence each other in a way. We meet people, learn from them and they can make us change whether our vision on things or the way we act in the future. It happens that talking to someone new can make us think differently, even enlarging our vision.

We also think that we could genuinely HELP and sometimes radically change someone's life thanks to small actions or simply by being ourselves.
