Love learning about new cultures, traveling / exploring in parts unknown and meeting local people along the way. Adventurous with a love of the outdoors, I am planning on traveling to countries I know nothing about and hoping to meet some interesting people along the way.

If it's on the map, it's on the way! Enjoy the moment for what it is. Don't quibble over the little stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have fully enjoyed every unique CS experience I have had. The cultural experience and exchanges have opened my eyes to things and people I never knew existed. I have been on the road the entire time I have been a CS member so have not had the pleasure of hosting anyone yet, but look forward to it when (if?) I ever settle somewhere.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each country, each person, each experience....unique in its own way. It's an amazing way to meet people I may not have otherwise met. I can certainly say some lasting friendships have come out of CouchSurfing. I have stayed the night in a camper van, on a reed floor mat, on a yacht, on a massage table, in a cave. I must say, "couch" surfing doesn't always mean just that!

Suspense-ridden books are the best, thrillers and dramas are my favorite types of movies, and I have quite an eclectic musical taste.

I have witnessed Machu Picchu in all it's glory, had lunch at the Arctic Circle, ridden water buffalo in the Philippines, and went tiger hunting in the Sundarbans in southern Bangladesh (nope, never found one).

I do dishes. I can make a pretty good stir fry, but that's about it. I can provide laughter and amusing stories from life on the road - just ask! I can't juggle, I can't sing, I can't dance - so I guess this isn't the place for those items.
