Ruairidh, 24 years old. Currently living in Glasgow. Whenever I have the time/money I'm a keen traveler. Love meeting the local people and finding out their perspectives when I travel, rather than getting lost among other travelers doing the usual tourist fare, so I feel that Couchsurfing is the way forward for me. Have stayed with hosts in Switzerland and the US, and have met some of the nicest people through here. Can't wait to get a better accommodation situation sorted so I can open it up to other travelers and pay back into the community

Looking for a new and more intimate way to travel and meet other people. I have always preferred taking in the local aspects of a location, rather than the touristy one's, so this gives me the perfect opportunity to live more as a local during my time there. I unfortunately can't host in my current living position, but look to be able to in the future to be able to put back into the CS community

I'm a keen sportsman, I've been playing for a Glasgow based hockey team called Rottenrow for the last 4 years.

Also a keen runner, have competed in several 10k's, half marathons and also Tough Mudder

I'm an openly social person, who enjoys trying new experiences, food etc whenever I visit a new place. I like to think I'm easy going and would never put pressure on the host to adapt to my needs, happy to work with their schedules and help make the experience a positive one for them
