I am a outgoing guy, who loves to explore the world, its cultures and people in his spare time. I work hard, but also know how to make the best of my life. I am honest, enthousiastic and thoughtfull person. My family and friends mean the world to me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have travelled a lot, and somehow did not get in touch with couchsurfing. But on my current trip, through Central and South America i have been meeting a lot very enthousiastic people, sharing great stories and experiences about it. About, how they met lovely people, how they went to places where 'normal travellers' don't go to and how they saw cities through different eyes. Namely, the eyes of a local. This is something that i obviously would love to experience as well. So, after hearing more and more great stories, i signed up.

兴趣

My major interest is travelling! Early 2013 i had lost my interest in my employer and decided it was time for me to enjoy life to the fullest. I quit my job, and left for Central and South America not knowing for how long. 15 months after date i am still here enjoying all that South America has to offer.

But also while working travelling was the one thing i reserved ALL my spare time for.

For the rest i like to cook, go out with friends and family for dinner and drinks, have a lazy evening on the couch watching a movie. I guess the usual stuff. 😉

I am extremely diverse. But if i need to mention some: coldplay, john mayer and electronical music for the music. Shawshank redemption, fight club, snatch and King of Schotland for the movies. And shantaram for the books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have quit my job, terminated all my obligations in the Netherlands and took off to Central and South America! I am here now for 15 months and not ready to go back yet!

I want to learn all there is to learn about a country/city, its culture and people. I would love to have a inside view on how real life is in a specific place.

I would like to share my travel experiences with everybody. And most important, i want to share amazing times with my hosts, both in their cities and when they would visit Amsterdam.

After my trip, i will be living in Amsterdam again. Obviously i will share my place with my former hosts, and will give them an inside view of my lovely city. I will take them out for dinner and drinks with my friends. And as i am sure that amazing, longlasting, friendships will arise from being hosted i already looking very much forward to it!
