As you already know my name is Ruben. I've just finished my final exams in school and I'll get my report in the end of the month. And before I get bored I decided a few days ago to buy myself a train ticket to Zagreb in Croatia. Till now I haven't planned anything, but I know some places I want to travel to. This is going to be a totally new experience to me and I'm very excited in what is coming next. I look forward to meet new people, talking about experiences, sharing or discussing about opinions and most important having fun and enjoying the short time we've got on planet earth :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is going to be the first time I'm going to travel alone. In my eyes this is one of the best ways to get in contact with local people. It would be in some way fatal not to lern something about the culture of the country's I'm traveling to. In addition exploring someone's hometown with a resident can be much more interesting because you might visit hidden spots you wound never have noticed by your own.

Interests

I'm trying to live for my interests as far as it is possible to me. In my home village I'm a member in the local volunteer fire department. This is a place where I spend a lot of my free time. In addition I love to be in nature, being at a lake to swim, hiking for several days through the wilderness or just having a walk makes me feel fulfilled. I'm fascinated by natural science like physics, chemistry or biology. When I'm back home I would love to do a glider pilot licence.
