About Me

I'm a really extroverted guy outside, and I'll easily talk too much when passionate about a subject. At home I'm usually more secluded to my phone and laptop, to catch up with random world news and just rest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tend to stay on hostels/airbnbs when travelling, but I don't usually get to meet as many people as I wish. Other travelers are a great way of meeting people when exploring, and locals will know the best tips :). Besides, I don't see why people would have to pay for a hotel when visiting my city when I (most days) have a bedroom available for them!

Interests

I'm pretty eclectic and if I've never done something before it means I seriously want to try it out. That usually means trying new foods but also I'm trying to shift some of my main going out activities (escape rooms, drinking) to stuff i haven't done any of such as camping and road tripping (if that's a verb).

Music, Movies, and Books

Any book by Brandon Sanderson, The Kingkiller Chronicle,

Not too much of a movie person but I love Atom Egoyan's works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does stupid count as amazing? I've jumped from a bridge into a river once without knowing how to swim. I thought I was gonna manage to float my way out, but turns out the current was too strong. Luckily my friends saved me.

I've entered the UK without a passport.

I'm yet to be in a trip where I haven't run desperately to catch a bus, train or plane at least once.

I've brought this walking stick from mount fuji as a carry on item and because of it I was surrounded by about 10 security people in the Amsterdam airport.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place to sleep, good food spots, and a group to hang out if my friends are up to anything that weekend :)
