just to live
There are millions of things that can make me feel the happiest person in the world: to lie down a tree in a sunny day, to be surprise for a good performance on the street, to share a beer and a jazz concert with friends, to teach to my studen the things I discover a day, to learn new things it doesn't matter what topic about... But there are one thing I really need to live (in addition to eat and to be loved), that is to paint, I can spend hours and hours painting while the world vanish during this time. To travel and to meet people are things that light up the life.
Enjoy as much as you can and treat the others the same way yo would like to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My daughters are couchsurfings, it's the way I knew this organization. I host in my house young people and I enjoy it a lot, it is like to enlarge the family. I thing it is really wonderful how new technologies can made the world a place to share, I am sure it will made a better future.
I am addict to visit museums, almost any kind of it, but above all Art Museums and art galleries. I love biking and bushwalking, to listen music and watch movies. I like to cook and to eat, especially if it means to share a good conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a lot the cinema but I hate horror movies and I like every kind of music but if I must choose I prefer jazz. Reading is one of my best ways to spend time, the range of interest is very wide but now I am studying philosophy so this topic is right now number one in my list in addition to the novels that I always combine with essays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing things that I had lived happend in Cuba, an absolutely crazy country if you are not merely a tourist. I have a big list but just some examples: A airplane went from Varadero to the 'secret' military airport in La Havana, in the middle of the night, to get only to me and to fly with the crew (six people) and me to Varadero again to pick up a german group to go to Santiago. In this town, the day after, in a five stars hotel, when in the morning I sit down in the cafeteria to have breakfast, the waiter very kindly said to me there was nothing to offer to me to drink or to eat. To contrast, other day I had coffee in the hospital office of a gynaecologist while he was practicing artificial insemination at the same time he was having his coffee and talking very friendly with me in balance to ask the woman about the treatment. The woman didn't seem to be surprised, embarrased or ofended.
