About Me

Hi!
I am an exchange student from Australia doing some backpacking after my course at bologna university. I study politics, philosophy, archeology and anthropology at university and write in my spare time.
I'm just a very easy going person, going with the flow as a travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a university student in Melbourne Australia, so I am always up for an intense discussion. Would love to meet new people on my travels. Also very happy to host people in Bologna and Melbourne if I stay at your place!
Also really want someone to take a photo of me in the new city, honestly, solo travel is all fun until you only have selfies to show your family back home.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite bands are: fleetwood mac, the dune rats are friends, sticky fingers, angus and julia stone, the jungle giants and the wombats.
I love all genres of film, but I especially love thrillers.
Avid book reader. Currently am into classical gothic fiction, but my go to books are On the Road, The Thing Around Your Neck, Antony and Cleopatra (shakespeare) and In Cold Blood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, it's not really amazing, but a few years ago I was camping with my family in rural New South Wales on the Australian Coast. I Made these cool friends and we all went diving together to this rock platform. There wasn't enough room in the car for me and one other person so we sat on the roof of the car with our legs through the sun roof drinking beers as we drove down the dirt track for about an hour. Once we get there we are all swimming, spear fishing and having a grand old time, when these 3 huge manta rays come to say hello. They were fine until one basically hugged me underwater. Now these are about 4 meter long sting rays, they are massive. I got a bit freaked out so i jumped out and totally cut my leg up on the rock platform. We all went home and I just relaxed on the roof of the car as we drove along back to the campsite. Once I got there I was a bit drunk and freaked out so I thought I would make myself a cup of tea. I turned on the gas stove, and the WHOLE thing exploded. Like fire all around me for about 5 seconds. Turns out there was a gas leak hahha. An interesting day to say the least.
