ABOUT ME

I deferred Uni for a year to have my own adventure away from the structures of life and somewhat monotony of daily existence. I love learning about different cultures and languages by exploring countries and cities to find out what makes it tick.
I embrace new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

I set out travelling after mulling over what I want to do with my life. My personal philosophy would be to live and not just be content with existing like so many are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love cooking! (Which does not necessarily mean I'm a brilliant cook!) love chilling/socialising/partying/having a good time, and am very eager to meet your friends or just really do whatever really!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed twice in France in 2012 and couldn't recommend it more highly! Met some of the most generous and kind people, got introduced to their friends and fully immersed into their lives as well as shown the sights of their towns (Blois & Limoges).

Interests

Favourite past times include: reading, horse riding, playing basketball, surfing (not very well), hanging out at the beach, live music and cooking.
I just really enjoy meeting new people, hearing and learning from their stories. Travelling has opened my eyes to history, culture and a different side of the story.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: Pulp Fiction, Intouchables, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Lord of the Rings, Beauty and the Beast. Love most films genres except horror.

Books: Pop Psyche books, All Agatha Christie's works, A Game of Thrones series, Harry Potter series, Pride and Prejudice and heeeeeaps more

Music: Bon Iver, Radiohead, Lana Del Ray, The National and lots lots more. I like most types of music depending on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling Europe solo has been an amazing experience, it would be impossible to identify a definitive moment that has been the most amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy people I can learn from whether it be learning from their stories of travel, interests, lifestyle or personal philosophies, these kinds of things surpass man made borders, connecting you with through shared experiences etc
