Hola! It’s been a while since I’ve travelled overseas but I’m back and absolutely loving Central America so far. More to know about me, I’m a freelance visual artist who works for a stage building company at music festivals which I’ve just started doing internationally. When im not doing that I’m painting murals, working graphic design and building or enjoying my hobbies. I’m really into dancing, yoga, djing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, snowboarding, hiking.

Mostly looking for any opportunities involving those hobbies but I’m also up for anything adventurous. Specifically looking to exchange accommodation, food etc for my skills in anyway I can help.

I currently live in my van back home in Australia because I travel so much for work but I’ve had loads of people stay with me when I used to have a house or even jumped along on the road with me! I made so many great friends last time doing this so would love to recreate the experience and meet new friends again.

Happy to help and exchange for letting me stay. Creativity is my strongest point but I also love cooking and building things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it’s a great way to connect with locals and get a real feel for a place. Much better way to connect then just being surrounded by travellers in a hostel. Also to help trade skills to help eachother

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mostly electronic music but I’m open to a lot. I like instrumental downtempo or midtempo chill music like hip hop but I also LOVE any bass music (drum and bass, breakbeat etc) techno and a bit of psytrance. And recently loving Afro beats since I’ve been in the US!

Books: old fave Patti Smith's memoir "Just kids", but I usually just read lots of self help books. Non fiction or memoirs for me so I can finally educate myself

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pinpoint one… I think just travelling solo really. But also jumping up on stage to live paint and perform was pretty nuts as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any visual art related work mostly painting and drawing, digitally as well as on paper, djing, cooking, yoga, dancing, hula hooping, how to use power tools, ahhhhh insightful things I’ve learnt in self help books? Hah!

I’m keen to learn more about art or playing music or therapeutic type of practises, or building or anything really! Open to new experiences that come my way

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I said earlier I can teach a lot of things otherwise I’m happy to cook however I can’t eat dairy or gluten but love meat and whole foods. I dont take for granted this kind of opportunity and would love to help you as much as possible for letting me stay at your home
