I'm 20 y/o heading into my third year of uni and living in a perpetual state of wanderlust. My aim is to travel across Asia as a freelance travel writer and EFL teacher. I love any kind of exercise that is not in a gym - hiking, pole dance, muay Thai, I'm up for trying it all. When I'm at home most of my time is spend cuddled into a book, writing or spending time with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, obviously, and meeting new people! I've always wanted to solo travel and I think the only way for me to gain travel confidence is by just doing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely LOVE indie and alternative rock, although I don't discriminate against music..
Asking about my favourite films/books is like asking a parent who their favourite child is! My film taste is incredibly broad, I vary from anime to horror to romcom... I do have a soft spot for 80s films but in all honesty who doesn't?
A book that sticks out the most to me is Entangled by Cat Clarke, it's very dark and I spent most of the time cuddled up in a ball wanting to give the poor girl a hug!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teaching English in China is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever done. The kids were fantastic and enthusiastic, whilst the 40 odd people I lived with are practically family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently learning Korean and would love to practise this. Also, as a literature student I -obviously- read a lot and am always happy to nerd off about a good read! Same with films! I go to the cinema at least once a month and am often found hermitting in my room surrounded by snacks with Netflix.
