About Me

I'm optimistic and spontaneous (at least when I'm traveling). I like the nature, good food, art and being creative, holding good discussions and enjoying a great dark beer. I love to be in the mountains, especially to ski, although coldness is my biggest enemy :D
When I'm traveling, I can't completely resist the temptation to take pictures, but I don't like to just tick all the touristic spots on a list without enjoying some places a bit longer!
I recently finished my Bachelor of Psychology and now I enjoy a few month of traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet other nice people in New Zealand to travel around or to spend a bit of time with :)
I'm pretty new on Couchsurfing and had my first "coutchsurfing-experience" during the last week. I'm absolutely overwhelmed and enthusiastic about this experience and the friendly, almost altruistic mind of my host. And all the people who picked me up when I tried to hitchhike made me realize how easy helping other people can be. I met so many I interesting and interested people and I guess, that hitchhiking/couchsurfing is the best way to experience spontaneous and wonderful adventures. When I am back in Germany I will try to offer as many rides and other things as I can to give at least a minimum back...

Music, Movies, and Books

I like old Hip Hop like CunninLynguists, but also Singer Songwriter like Ben Howard or The Angelcy (Irish folk band). I listen to Edward Sharp & the Magnetic Zeros, Sting, Kings of Leon, Curtis Mayfield, Elliot Moss, Jack Johnson, Timberlake, Ched Faker and if I'm not tired also to Skrillex. I really enjoy being part of the music, because it makes you "feel" the music even more. That's why I am a member of a jazzchoir since last year.
My favorite books are Fahrenheit 451 of Ray Bradbury and Momo of Michael Ende and although I also love many other movies, I would say that Inglorious Basterds and Victoria are probably my favorite two.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the Tongario Alpine Crossing definetly knocked my socks of, but I could also just call a diner cooked with a good friend and refined with wine amazing :)
