I am easy-going and love running, climbing, music and art. I am a self-declared backgammon master and potluck queen. I support ridiculousness. I like trash-talking in situations that most other people would consider inappropriate. I have the best chocolate chip cookie recipe and will happily give to you. I am a biology nerd AND and mapping nerd - shout out to my friends in UTM zone 20.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I let people sleep on my couch. I sleep on other people's couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled Australia, avoiding hostels at all cost, and stayed for a year on coaches (or spare rooms). I have had people stay on my couch for days and months at a time.

Cooking, hiking, climbing, surfing, music, running, cycling, making art out of junk, eating large breakfasts, hugging trees, saving googly-eyed slugs, group cheers for regular tasks (ones where everyone puts their hands in the center), starfish- sea stars, mushrooms (they're not plants, not animals, and probably up to something), butterflies, the future and the role of our generation, open-source software.

I forgot my jacket/ mask at home one day during my first week as a beekeeper. Everytime I got out of the truck was incredably stressful for me. My experienced partner would examine the hive and more often than not I had to shake all of the bees out of the top box. Yes, I did get stung, but only 3 times. It wasn't physically painful, it just took a lot of courage.
