Hi all :) ! This is Ruby from Taipei, Taiwan- a small little island country in far east Asia where is known for its world-class yummy food and friendly people (yes, we are!!). I am currently traveling and have lived 1 year in Scotland for my master studies and 1 year in Germany for some courses.
I'm always interested in getting to know different cultures through meeting local people hence I'm on Couchsurfing :) I like nature, animals, hiking, coffee, cakes, stand-up comedy and I am quite passionate about education, language and technology. I used to organise English and Mandarin summer for kids from around the world in Taiwan, and it was one of the best experience I had and something to remember forever!

I would like to expand my travel to the middle east and Africa in the near future :) and wanna learn horseback riding and find a way to get closer to nature, which I didn't get to enjoy from growing up as a city girl :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed in Hostels and sleeping at friends couch A LOT whilst I traveled and it was a great way to meet travelers but now I would like to get to meet locals more from my trips too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My work experience in a summer camp with the kids from different part of the world is def memorable, we spent the summer together, learning, having fun and dancing around the campfire etc.
I also really enjoy my trip to Colombia and Mexico from meeting friendly locals and like-minded travelers along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Mandarin (with exotic traditional characters) and my way of fairly relaxing perspective towards life. We can share the story from our travelling, life, anecdotes or just everything!
