Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share my home and give travellers a place where they can rest, wash, eat and feel welcome, so they can visit Brussels and Belgium the best way possible.

My husband and I had already some wonderful experience couchsurfing in Cambodia, New England (USA) and Poland sharing a meal, listening to stories and feel at home very far away.

September 2018 our family was expanded with a little girl. Curious how traveling with the three of us will go.

In the future we hope to travel again with cs and find a warm bed and friendly people. Looking forward to meet you.

Interests

I'm very interested in art and love to visit any kind of museums or go to a concert or play. My life is filled with music and I love to sing; with children, alone or with friends.

When travelling, I like to get to know the history of the place, the people, the land, the culture I visit. Besides that, I also enjoy to walk and hike in natural parks and enjoy the beauty of nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2007 I have been to Malawi for 7 weeks to teach music in the Chilanga School for the Blind. Their I realised that people around the world are so much alike and that I wanted to see more of the world and the people living there.

Summer 2015 me and my husband Alex went to Cambodia for three months to participated in a Bookbridge learning center at Tonloab (Takeo province).
