Ruby and Georgie! We are fabulous, funny and fun Aussie sheila’s…. Travelling in the USA for a month.

Both easy going and clean, neat and tidy. Love meeting new people and visiting new places. Both passionate about ….healthy eating, outdoors, music, art, music, laughing a lot, swimming, mother earth, sustainable living, sunshine, clean water, positive people, caring for animals and..........love is all around us!

Brought together by the wonderful world of the internet, and never to be parted. Ruby was traveling along the east coast of Australia when she found a WWOOFING ad Georgie had posted for her a farm hand.

Ruby and Georgie are kindred spirits and Ruby's mum often chuckles how much alike we are. We have travelled together in Australia and this is our first trip together overseas. Woohoo!

Georgie owns a business called freshbox.com.au which delivers organic food and groceries to your door. Georgie thought Ruby was so awesome that she ended up working for Fresh Box for 18months before moving to Melbourne.

Georgie grew up in the middle east and in asia as her father was a pilot with the airlines. Her parents were awesome adventurers so she has some amazing stories to tell of far out places they travelled.

Ruby grew up in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia and went to an amazing high school that was based around farming as well as learning the regular school curriculum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Georgie lives on a 10acre farm and hosts many people from around the world as farm hands. She loves the experience of meeting new people and just loves the locals in each town. She also has a massive soft spot for americans.

Ruby loves people and has always wanted to travel america and meet the locals as much as possible. She loves hanging out and listening to a good story and having good conversations about life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ruby - abandoned my entire life and lived on Georgie's farm for almost 2 years when it was only suppose to be for a week.
Georgie - (became friends with Ruby-obviously) Not the greatest achievement of my life but i was a body double on Survivor Fiji. (long story ill tell u over a drink!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that everyone possesses great value in what they can teach and share with other people, from knowledge to skills, whether they know it or not. I am always seeking to learn from others and to share with others what I have learned so far. Sometimes we may have heard the same thing 1000 times but one person might word the same teaching in a totally different way and it finally clicks and resonates with young helps you to learn and move forward with your life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are pretty awesome cooks and would love to cook you dinner. Or happy to take you out and have a wonderful dinner full of good food and laughter one night. Happy to do your laundry or clean up a bit in the house is you need a hand and are strapped for time. We are very capable so tell us what u need!
