I am an Indian girl who recently got bit by the travel bug! I have completed my masters in computer engineering from Iitb and am going to start an internship in shanghai in august 2016. I was introduced to couchsurfers quite by accident, and have already fallen in love with it! I like reading, computer science, spending time with friends and getting to know people from other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started very recently with the purpose of finding someone to share a flat with during my internship, but I think CS is a lifestyle that will suit me very well!

Interests

Books! I read a lot of books, around 2 every week. Any genre will do although I prefer crime fiction, fantasy, comedy and the occasional romance one.
Other than books, I love Watching TV shows; out of the long list, greys anatomy, modern family, house, big bang theory, castle, suits would be a few names.
I also watch movies(any type) and would like to go out and watch one with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: all types, preferably soft, melodious

Books: books by Agatha Christie, Sidney sheldon, Jeffrey archer, Barbara Taylor Bradford, jk Rowling, George r r martin, p g Wodehouse, and many more(names not in any particular order)

Movies: Hollywood and Bollywood , thrillers, drama, romcoms, biographical...any type basically. I don't have a favourite movie, and usually don't watch the same movie more than twice, how much ever I like it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: languages: I can teach you my mother tongue(Marathi, an Indian language), Hindi, Kannada(another Indian regional language) and English.
Read: I can suggest some great books from many genres if you are interested in reading.
Chess: I can teach you chess as I am an accomplished chess player, and would love to play with you if you play!

Learn: My wish list includes learning new languages, learning to play a musical instrument(the guitar probably), and learning a type of dance(salsa probably)...CS could help me with these :)

Share: I have 6 cats, a dog and a dysfunctional family, so have many hilarious stories to recount.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not hosting currently as I will be moving to Shanghai soon and don't have a house there to do so ! I will be in shanghai in august, and will rent a flat there in some days. After I have done so, I will be happy to host then. After I settle down, I'll update on what I can offer to my guests !
