ABOUT ME

have lived now in Germany over 20 years. Even as a kid, I always knew that I would live in a foreign country. Now, what's foreign to me is my birth country and not Europe.Travel a bit in europe for my job but mainly just because I like seeing places I have no real reason to see except that I know that they exist and want to honor that, somehow.nowhere is too obscure or unimportant to visit if people live there, have their daily lives, problems, struggles and joys.am identical twin but my twin is struggling actor in NYC.

nothing like meeting people on this planet whom I would never meet under normal circumstances.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not yet "officially" with this forum but have countless times been shown a lot of hospitality and have slept on lots of couches and floors and I would simply like to return that hospitality to other "strangers."

Intereses

bicycling, cooking, obscure and foreign films, languages, sauna, reading and of course travelling

wally lamb books, iris murdoch, eudora welty , willa cather as authors and I will have to give thought to the rest.they are the ones that come to mind immediately.

Algo increíble que he hecho

experiencing total and complete silence in a jungle clearing of Guyana. It ws so quiet, it hurt. The pressure on the brain trying to detect even a tiny bit of noise but not finding it.
