Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Singapore. Growing up, I've always been interested in the arts and creative.
Some of my interests are : fashion, menswear, tailoring, textiles, architecture, photography, travel, bookstores, cafes, movies, music, flea markets, festivals, art exhibitions, museums, bike tours.
The littlest things that make me excited during my travels are exploring the cities on a bicycle, road trips, enjoying the view and sitting at the park taking some time to myself reading.
You can easily find me having a cup of coffee with a book in hand at a cafe, or sipping down a cup of hot tea indoor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard of the good reviews Couchsurfing has to offer through friends during their travels. I'm personally a big fan of meeting locals or travellers from all over the world. I'd like to meet like-minded people and hear their stories and experiences, and I do hope to make friends and maintain the friendship despite the long distance. It must be a nice feeling to meet again in another part of the world, I reckon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went through a firefighting course where I was put to a test of endurance, patience, urgency and seeing how one perservere during training. I became a Firefighter for 2 years. It was a tough but good experience. Have responded to firecalls and put out fire in a whole unit/apartment, rescued a casualty who was stucked under a train.
I did a trip to Mongolia and headed to the mountains from the city, camping for few nights and surrounding myself with nature. Almost freeze to death sleeping at night in an open space. Greeted by cows right outside to the tent and woke up to the sound of horses crossing river in the morning without alarm clock. Stayed in a Ger (one of the iconic big tents) and witnessed one of the most amazing sunsets with wild horses running feeling free.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I keep my mannerisms in check, as I respect the humble act of the space offered by the hosts. I clean up after myself and will help out around the house if needed. I was brought up washing the dishes after you eat, and it’s been a habit since then. These are basic things in my opinion, but most importantly I wish to get to know people better, and develop friendships all over the world.
I hope to do the same for you when you visit Singapore. Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide accommodation currently, but I will be able to bring you around and show you Singapore.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, United States
