Hello! I am a recent college graduate who just started working at a legal services nonprofit. As you can probably tell from my job (which is an important and enjoyable part of my life), I am committed to social justice and try to live out my beliefs in my everyday life.
Outside of 9-5, I spend time on a variety of activities to keep myself busy. I am learning and falling in love with tango. I play the piano every single day. I indulge in everything that happens in a theater. And I visit art museums from time to time. Although I was never an artist, art offers me the precious opportunity to take refuge in an alternate reality every so often. In short, I wouldn't know how to live without art.

I am always eager to get to know people and their stories. Since I moved to New York, I have met a wild range of folks that live vastly different lives and yet somehow managed to cross paths with me--how this all happened I don't know, but I try to stay present at every minute of a friendship. My friends describe me as a good listener, and I am always up for a meaningful/thought-provoking/genuine/open-minded conversation.
I am also living in the US on my own (I am from China) and do not get to go home very much. Although I have an active social life, sometime I still miss being in a place like home. So it means something special to me when someone welcomes me into their home and shares a personal slice of their life with me. As for my home, I would have loved to be a host if I had space in my NYC-sized apartment :)
