About Me

figuring out what's my current mission

This is a difficult one, as I never now where to start. Well first you can check the reviews section. On my own words, I'm shy, calm, more a listener than a talker and I can be quiet sometimes but that just means I have nothing to say. I like to read (a lot) and enjoy a sunny day at the airport doing planespotting (that's my hobby).

Don't do to others what you wouldn't like to be done to yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and surfed before. At the moment it's more hosting then the other.

IMPORTANT: at the moment I work in Sintra and come to Gaia on the weekends. So my availability might be limited to from friday until sunday or maybe monday. Depends on my working schedule.

I've surfed in Lublin, Chisinau, Reykjavik and Akureyri. As for hosting, I've had surfers from Finland, USA, Germany, Australia, Russia, Brazil and France staying over at my place. Plus I've participated in meetings in Porto, Bratislava, Amsterdam, Brno, Warsaw , Chisinau and Bucharest.

I'm a planespotter (check the photos section) and I've spent more days at airports smelling jet fuel and taking photos then I can remember. That's my hobby. There's allways a book on my nightstand. I also do hard dance music festivals and pretty much all the times in The Netherlands.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy dance music. I started with trance (when Tiësto was the king) then moved to Hardstyle (150bpm) and at the moment I'm going a bit faster with Hardcore. I've done, I don't know, maybe more then 16 festivals in The Netherlands since 2007 and every single one was amazing.

As for books I love Portuguese Nobel winner Saramago, even got 2 autographed by him. I usually buy second hand books and never read a book I didn't like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? C'mon, no way...I had the pleasure of fulfilling my biggest dream of travelling to all the Continents. While doing it I would say meeting everyone was also something amazing that I've done. There was as well cage diving with the white shark in Gansbaai, South Africa as well as the full moon party in Thailand. That was epic! I've also live in Chisinau for 1 month and lived/party with the fun and outstanding volunteers that work there. That's something I'll be forever thankfull. Clockwise road trip in Iceland for a week with couchsurfers was also amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can defenitlly teach you Portuguese, and, why not, teach you all the basics to be an Air Traffic Controller. It's not that hard...

What I Can Share with Hosts

An apple pie receipt :)
