figuring out what's my current mission
Born and raised in Gaia (next to Porto), since 2009 that I lived in Beja where I work.
When I'm not working and have a couple of days off, then it's hasta la vista baby and I do some travelling. I'm so addicted to that as well to meeting new people. Been flying in and out regularly and that's an ongoing mission, plus I love the thrill of being in a new country/city and I'm allways waiting for the next trip. Well, this said, I think I'm just like everyone else around here.
I'm very open minded person, like to keep things simple and easy for everyone else around me. I think of myself as a little bit shy, but on the other hand I can sometimes be a party animal, after all I do listen to Hardstyle music.
Like to go out, have a drink and a laugh (I smile a lot!!) and hear some travelling stories. I can share some of mine for sure :).
Don't do to others what you wouldn't like to be done to yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted and surfed before, but at the moment it's only surfing.
I've surfed in Lublin, Chisinau, Reykjavik and Akureyri. As for hosting, I've had friends from Finland, USA, Germany, Australia, Russia, Brazil and France staying over at my place. Plus I've participated in meetings in Porto, Bratislava, Amsterdam, Brno, Warsaw and Chisinau. And looking for many more...
Here goes some kind of grocery list of things that I like the most: Travelling, planes, Hardstyle & Trance music, books, laugh & smile, meeting new people and listen to their wicked stories, francesinha (google it), coffee, turntables, Dutch festivals, friends, South Park, Heineken, Q-Dance... I think you can get a picture :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Horror and comedy movies most, I know they are both the oposite, but that's my taste.
Trance and Hardstyle (described as "150BPM (beats per minute) of pure euphoria"). DJ's? Mmmm, let me se, Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Da Tweekaz, Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Wasted Penguinz... trust me the list is endless.
As for books I love Portuguese Nobel winner Saramago, even got 2 autographed by him :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one? C'mon, no way...I had the pleasure of fulfilling my biggest dream of travelling to all the Continents. While doing it I would say meeting everyone was also something amazing that I've done. There was as well cage diving with the white shark in Gansbaai, South Africa as well as the full moon party in Thailand. That was epic!! Speaking about parties, I've been to Holland for 14 dance music festivals and every single one was something amazing worth writing it down here. I've also live in Chisinau for 1 month and lived/party with the fun and outstanding volunteers that work there. That's something I'll be forever thankfull. Clockwise road trip in Iceland for a week with couchsurfers was also AMAZING.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can defenitlly teach you Portuguese, and, why not, teach you all the basics to be an Air Traffic Controller. It's not that hard...
