PHILOSOPHY

I am exactly where I need to be right now. My goal is to learn to view others and myself with increasing compassion, and to act upon that compassion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Email I received from a former student of mine:

"Hey Julia, it's been awhile since we last talked and i just wanted to check up. I'm already at LC (my high school in case you forgot...) and the classes ain't that interesting. I appreciated what you wrote in the final evaluation and I always wanted to say something to you. You were the best teacher I ever had and still are even after I met my teachers here in Conneticut. I don't know if that has as much meaning to you as it would have if I said that a month ago but I never got the chance. plaese reply for three reasons: (1) to make sure my e-mail is working, (2) to make sure I have the right e-mail address, (3) just to talk. On elast thing... are you teaching in the up and coming summer institute? With that, I gotta stop 'cause of curfew.
