ABOUT ME

Half Dutch, half Egyptian born and raised in London. I travelled extensively for ten years before finally settling down. I now live and work in London when not on trips abroad. I have managed to make a career out of doing something that I love, organising expeditions and endurance running, cycling and hiking events.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been using CS since 2010 - albeit with a big gap. I used host surfers on my couch but now I use the app to meet fellow travellers at home or abroad.

Interests

Travel (obviously - the more off the beaten track the better), people, cooking, laughing, trekking, exploring, cycling, reading, plant-based food and coffee. I really like good coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three months leading adventure tours in Tibet climbed Kilimanjaro (twice) and learnt the Rubik’s cube with my son. Having kids!
