Born and raised in northern Iceland, but have been living in Copenhagen for the last few years. I moved there to finish my studies and since it is a pretty great place, I stuck around. I studied mathematics, but am currently working in IT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a really cool way to travel and meet new people. This way you can get a more authentic experience of the places that you visist get to know places that ordinarily you could not. You also get the chance to do exactly that for others, while you host surfers on your couch.

Interests

I am a sporty person that enjoys the outdoors. I have always been very active and played football through most of my youth. Recently that has been replaced by yoga, running and most recently climbing.
Lately I have been getting more and more interested in programming so a lot of my freetime is also spent indoors with my computer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly to rock and classical music. Favorite artists at the moment: Ólafur Arnalds, and Imagine Dragons.
I don't really have a single favorite movie, but to list a few that I really like: Basically everything by Christopher Nolan, 500 days of Summer, Bridge to Terabithia, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A four day hike in Iceland where we carried everything on our backs and spent one day crossing a glacier.
