ABOUT ME

I had been a lecturer at Kensington & Chelsea College for 8 years teaching painting & drawing to adults ,which I loved, but took a years sabatical in 2004 to visit India and Thailand and enjoyed the experience so much i decided not to return, had enough by then anyway. After that I went to Spain and did a TEFL (teach English as a foreign language) course and eventually returned to Thailand were I taught for sometime before returning home.I am currently in the states & intend to live and work in Mexico then possibly move on to South America.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don`t have a couch myself at the moment but when settled in someplace I would be glad to return the favour to anyone who needs a roof for a night or two (or if i like you maybe longer!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only recently become aware of this site which i think is a fantastic idea so my experience is limited, however I have friends in england who i stay with when i`m there and they`re still alive..oops I mean we`re still friends.I am currently staying with another newbie, we both joined this site at the same time, so i`m couch surfing now i guess.

Interests

music but my collection is a bit old and very eclectic, art of course.. mainly 20th century, ideas..studied philosophy..i also like to be entertained ie films,good tv sometimes trashy, books (fav writer for sometime has been Ervine Welsh),love the great outdoors walking and camping, mind bending drugs but kinda been there n done it...plus many more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far traveled around India on a motorbike mainly Goa and Karnatica, Thailand north & south east coast inc scuba diving koh Tao island" mmm beautiful".
One month through Vietnam,Laos,Cambodia,Malaysia.
Been to Spain many times all over and lived in madrid for a short while,my ex girlfriend was spanish...it was all amazing.
