Hey guys! My name is Ruslana and I currently live in the city of Sacramento in California. I am from Ukraine but I have lived in California most of my life. I am finishing up my last semester of university and am ready to move onto a new chapter in my life! I recently got married to my best friend (Andrey) we have known each other since we were 16 and even went skydiving together! Andrey proposed to me while we were on a hike in Oahu, Hawaii and of course, I said yes! We got married in the Sierra Nevada mountains in the summer of 2017.
We are both adventurous people, who love nature and the outdoors. We love to hike, backpack, slackline, rock climb and everything in between. We enjoy going to new places and getting to know the area, making it feel like home. I love meeting and interacting with people and love the opportunity to make new friends.
Andrey and I are both Russian, speak Russian and have grown up in the Russian community here in California, so we have a unique Russian-American culture. We would love to see and experience other cultures and what we can learn from them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Both Andrey and I want to travel outside of California and want to experience other cultures, see new places and meet awesome people along the way. Traveling is exciting but I think it can be even more fun when you can interact with people who are excited to share their culture and experiences with us!
