Hi, I'm Russ!
I love travel (obviously), food and nature. I just graduated college with a degree in Food Science and I've decided to take some time to travel and explore the world! I'm funding my adventures with freelance food writing along the way and hoping to start a business while I'm on the move. Traveling and adapting to new ways of life is pretty much my favorite way to learn.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

It seems like an awesome resource to make travel better and more possible! Couchsurfing (both staying and hosting) seems like a really immersive way to experience different ways of life, meet new people, and try new things.
I'm planning several Workaway stays in the future so I can affordably experience other countries and cultures, and Couchsurfing seems like it fits right into that! I'm traveling to Spain, Italy, Portugal and Morocco for three months this fall (2017) and I'd love to use couchsurfing to meet some new people and experience these countries more like a local.

Unfortunately I'm unable to host for the time being, but I'd be happy to show people around Columbus or Cleveland and grab drinks!
