I grew up in Indiana but my family just moved to Arizona. I just graduated from BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho and I plan to pursue a masters degree. I have an internship lined up in Lisbon, Portugal starting in January, 2018. I love the outdoors, sports and traveling. My dream is to be location independent. I believe that traveling is a great way to overcome biases and expand your world. I look forward to immersing myself in and learning about different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of Couchsurfing because I think the best way to learn about a place is to stay with the locals who live there. I would love to meet some great people and hear about some of their life experiences, as well as learn about their local city. I'm also here to find safe and clean environments to stay in.

When it comes to movies I love good sports ones like Remember the Titans, Glory Road, Hoosiers, Miracle, and Field of Dreams. I tend to like anything that inspires me to be a better person and to see the world differently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a religious history tour through Europe in the fall of 2016 with my school. I visited the countries of Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Scotland and England. This tour helped me recognize how big the world is and sparked my desire to travel everywhere I possibly can.
