About Me

I am originally from Dallas, Texas but after boucing around for the past two years I ended up in South Dakota for work.... Wait a minute, that first sentence sounds like the beginning of an uneventful life story. Take two! Can you help me add another chapter to my life that I can share with those in the future? I am simply an open-minded guy who wants to see life from different perspectives. With that goal in mind, what better way than to share a space with someone from a completely different walk of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the cost of travel is the biggest deterrent for many people. (Including myself.) With that being said I joined to reduce the financial burden of traveling while also gaining the chance to experience new areas with locals.

Interests

All of the below can keep my content but the combination of 2 or more is my goal.

  • beer
  • traveling
  • hiking
  • snowboarding
  • wakeboarding
  • medicine

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to pretty much all types of music. I don't have the personality of someone who will get up and dance to every song but I am okay with that.

If a movie has Denzel Washington in it I will enjoy it. I also prefer to watch movies based off of real life events. (I have a pretty hard time sitting through a two hour, action packed, Hollywood movie.)

Due to school I have not had much time to read for just pleasure. One book that I recently read was the Alchemist. I found the life lessons from it to be very enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working in EMS I have had the chance to save several lives. It often starts to feel just like a job but when you step back and look at what you have done it sounds pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unfortunately, I don't see myself as a master of any trade or skill. As a person, I try to stay knowledgable and rounded in what I know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I feel like what I can share is one answer out of a two fold question. For the things I know, I can share whatevery my Host would like to learn. I would love to be able to help someone answer a life question, learn a new skill, or simply spend a night watching the sunset while drinking a beer.

Countries I’ve Visited
