About Me

I’m Russell “Wishka” Davis — an internationally known mixologist, television producer, indigenous ally, spiritual explorer, and global business consultant. You might recognize me or my work from Bar Rescue as one of the Mixology Experts, or Netflix’s Drink Masters, where I was a producer behind the scenes. I was also named the 2012 Bartender of the Year for the Nightclub and Var Awards.

Today, I travel the world in service to culture, connection, and ancestral wisdom. I am the former Special Advisor and Ambassador to the Grand Council of Elders of the Eagle and Condor Prophecy, where I worked closely with indigenous leaders to protect/balance sacred lands, revive ancient knowledge, and lead expeditions to recover ancient sites. . As well, it is my mission to help reintroduce ancestral recipes and rituals into the modern world — especially through hospitality.

Alongside my philanthropic, hospitality, and beverage consulting, I also produce television currently developing a project that explores the intersections of culture, spirituality, and food & beverage traditions. My projects shine a light on hidden histories, ancient sites, and the people preserving them.

I’m an open-minded, adventurous soul who lives for deep conversations, sacred experiences, and cultural exchange. Originally from Texas, a huge proponent of natural medicine, and 420 friendly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I led the investigations, expeditions, and excavations with the Otomi Toltec to uncover an ancient archaeological site (part of a kingdom we recovered) in Mexico under the direction of the convener of the Council of Elders of the Eagle and Condor.
