Chill guy who loves seeing new places, meeting cool people, wide open spaces, and finding adventure in the mundane -- when the road calls, I answer. Otherwise an on again/off again history teacher and coach, decent snowboarder, and hack novelist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surfed a few times and hope to start hosting surfers in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of friendly people out there, one very nice couple in Maine let me stay a week once. More or less restored my faith in humanity, that's all.

Books: anything intriguing; big Jon Krakauer fan; The Art of Fielding; anything John Irving
