Took an unexpected break from CS with the pandemic and life happening. Slowly getting back into it.

Just a common guy. Still trying to make sense out of life and what I want from it. Tend to be talkative once I get to know people. Trying to open up my mind through traveling and meeting new people. Also, I love learning new languages and I believe a language opens up a culture, and a lot more too.

If you want to know more, may be the references will give you a better idea!

PHILOSOPHY

Haven't been able to figure that one out yet. I realized that it keeps changing as I change after new experiences.

For now though, it's to travel as much as I can and
never to think that it's too late to pick up anything new & interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed for couches in a few cities(Lisbon, Stavanger and Vancouver) and hosted a few people. I use CS mostly to meet and hangout with locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Met great folks and made some amazing friends through Couchsurfing. Great experiences so far...looking forward to more of these!

Interests

Languages, Traveling, Food - Both eating & cooking, Anime, Dogs, Nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Almost all studio Ghibli movies. I like 2D animation a lot, so tend to watch animated movies more than live action.

Music - Eclectic, I guess. Anything that is pleasant to listen to. Old Hindi songs, anime soundtracks. I tend to like songs with really good lyrics. Some bands I kinda follow - Stereophonics, Gorillaz, Florence And The Machine, Daughter, Of Monsters and Men.

Books - Trying to read more. Some favourites below.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Japan for a month in 2011.
Snorkeling in 2 degree Celsius cold water in Silfra Reef in Iceland - it was surreal.
Trolltunga, Preikestolen and Kjeragbolten hikes in Norway.
Island hopping on a bicycle, in Turku Archipelago, Finland.
Solo road trip in Westfjords of Iceland.
