About Me
A friend described me by saying, "She's funny and does weird things that make people laugh." That's what she said about me when I was 12. Now that I'm an adult, I prefer the phrase, "quirky fabulous." Most of the time, I'll try anything once.
I'm a non-traditional entrepreneurial lawyer who specializes in social media law, business law, and flash mob law. I've also been a blogger for 5 years. I'm involved in flash mobs and an awesome local event called Ignite Phoenix. Despite having an outgoing personality, I'm quite introverted and get overwhelmed by large crowds. I'm an aspiring minimalist and I've been in recovery for over 10 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm doing a speaking tour/road trip called The Undeniable Tour where I'll be talking to law students and lawyers about how to use social media more effectively. I love using it and it's been critical to my professional success. In between speaking gigs, I'll be meeting with awesome people in the social media world and having the closest thing I've had to a vacation in over 3 years. I organized this tour myself and am doing it on a shoestring budget.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can handle most music except excessive amounts of rap and heavy metal. My tastes are pretty eclectic, depending on my mood.
I love movies that have a good adventure story, especially if it's based on real events. The last movie I saw was Wild, and I loved it. I can enjoy most movies except stupid comedies and horror films.
I prefer to read nonfiction - usually business books and memoirs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I performed the National Anthem at 2 Major League Baseball games.
I have participated in at least 20 flash mobs.
I've written 3 books.
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I say? I'm going on a crazy adventure/road trip that's all about sharing ideas. I'd love to meet professionals/creatives/writers and people who are also active on social media to be part of this journey.
I'm also trying to figure myself out so I'd love to meet genuinely happy people to see what's working for them - especially people who have an adventurous spirit who can tell me what's what wherever I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am going to be documenting this trip from start to finish with social media posts, photos, blogs, and vlogs. I would hope that everyone who is part of my trip will want me to share something about them with whoever follows me.
I live and breathe social media and flash mob law, so if there's something you want to chat about in these arena, I can talk about this stuff for days.
Depending on my schedule, I might have some big chunks of free time and will want to go on adventures with an activity partner.
