Hello my name is Ruth and I am a 26 year old currently traveling South America with my boyfriend. We finished our undergraduate in university about 4 years ago and both worked in our fields, however we felt that we needed to explore the world, so we quit our jobs and are now currently exploring South America.

We are currently about 4 and a half months into our travels and have only learnt about Couchsurfing recently, we have currently been staying in hostels and meeting other travelers on our way but it is now time for us to meet the locals.

Unfortunately we cannot host right now, but once I am back in Ireland, my house is your house!

I feel Couchsurfing is a great way to explore the city you are currently in. The locals or people who have lived in the city for years will know it better than anyone else, it’s the best way to explode the city in my opinion.
