ABOUT ME

I have a passion for travelling. I met my husband in New Zealand on my first RTW trip.
We are currently working and living in England and about to embark on another few years of continuous travel.

I work as a coffee shop manager during 5 days a week and the other two I love to hike and do yoga.

PHILOSOPHY

i love that free feeling of travelling, everyday is an adventure and new things to see or do appear in the blink of an eye. weather its sitting by the sea or walking i've seen something new everyday.
i love meeting new people, hearing their views on life and realising that my four walls at home are nothing compared to the world.
i dont ever want to get a job that doesnt make me happy, i never wanna get up in the morning and wish i did something different with my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well the only couch surfing i've done is when i was saving to go travelling the first time and couldn't afford to pay rent any longer so i surfed my friends sofas for a few months. most fun i've had living with people!
always kept me busy, cooking meals together, participating in activities i wouldn't normally do!

Interests

just started getting into yoga, and do the occasional jog/run every now and then.
other than the obvious i love my music, but doesn't everyone! no band in particular just love listening to the old rock and i would have to admit our guilty pleasures are the 80's classics!
Me and my husband love hiking and any weekend was can have off work together then we will try to climb mountains or hill, and walk for miles and miles!

music - a little bit of everthing as long as it has a good rhythm i'm happy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing to the top of mount Kinabalu in Borneo and Mout Toubkal in Morrocco are the two most amazing, hard working and rewarding experiences I have ever done.
The craziest thing was watching a wild orang-utan climb onto my husbands back in Borneo!

we can share - cooking skills, happy times, music,
we wanna learn about other peoples experiences of travelling and about local gems that would otherwise not be easily accessible!
Living in Reading we can show you around town, take you out of town to ancient roman settlements if your into history. Just have a cup of tea and be a friend away from home :)
